System of Care Curricula Initiative

The Research and Training Center for Children's Mental Health at the University of South Florida invites you to contribute to the System of Care Curriculum Initiative.

This initiative is aimed at incorporating key concepts and values from System of Care (SOC) approaches into University curricula across the nation. Through building a central set of resources and partnerships, we hope to provide University educators with curricula that better prepare social workers, therapists, agency administrators, teachers, etc., to support real world provision of effective mental health services, thus improving outcomes for children with mental health issues.

We are currently gathering existing materials that reflect successful integration of SOC concepts into curricula across disciplines, as well as key published works that can guide further development of such curricula based on best practices in the field. Your contribution will be invaluable to this effort; we believe that through mining and organizing the good work done to date, the System of Care Curriculum Initiative can serve as a catalyst for change in the preparation of tomorrow's helping professionals.
