Synopsis: Ideally, wraparound involves formal and informal supports/resources, with informal supports growing over time; however, professionals operating within systems of care (SOCs) have difficulties engaging informal supports in wraparound service plans, and many child and family teams do not involve informal supports. This presentation reports on the levels and types (emotional, tangible, financial, information, crisis) of support caregivers receive from family, friends, neighbors, faith communities, mental health professionals, spouses/partners, family advocacy groups, and coworkers.
