Synopsis: This study examined the impact of a learning collaborative involving five child mental health agencies. Data regarding show-rates for first intake and/or attendance at subsequent clinic appointments was retrospectively analyzed. Sites which administered engagement strategies taught in the collaborative evidenced increases in kept initial and subsequent appointments ranging from 2% to 21% comparative to pre-collaborative attendance rates. In contrast, one site, which did not administer the strategies, noted a 9% to 13% decrease in attendance.
