Synopsis: PEP is a training and consultation program for parent advisors working with parents of children with mental health needs. The program address 3 crucial areas: (1) improvement in parent to parent support, (2) skills and knowledge about best practices in children's mental health and (3) self-efficacy in applying what is learned in direct practice. The purpose of the program is to provide parent advisors/advocates the knowledge, skills and framework for working more effectively with parents/caregivers.
