Synopsis: The Community Defined Evidence Project (CDEP) was initiated to increase recognition and acceptance of community-based practices and the need to establish a means for documenting their positive effects within Latino communities. It is developing a systematic approach for identifying criteria that constitutes community defined evidence or a set of practices, which may not have been measured empirically, but have been accepted, used and determined to yield positive results in Latino communities.
