Synopsis: Parents need to be full partners in their child’s care and practitioners need to attend to engaging parents. This poster presents three novel approaches to engaging parents across a variety of settings within the system of care, using empirical measures and parent advocates in the role of assisting with assessments and training clinicians. While each approach and setting is distinct, all share a common goal of empowering families and building a stronger partnership between caregivers and clinicians.
