Synopsis: Kansas has recognized the importance of professional parents in the children’s mental health services array since the early 1990’s. A team of professional parents and researchers will discuss the effective components of parent to parent services. The team will illustrate how a participatory action research approach is utilized to design and conduct meaningful children’s services research. Participants will learn how the study process is being evaluated and utilized to maximize community impact.
