Synopsis: This poster focuses on different dimensions of perceived control over treatment decisions among youth being served in systems of care. We empirically distinguished between three different dimensions of perceived control. Three separate logit models were used to determine predictors of youth's perceptions of a lack of control over their treatment decisions. Results indicate family characteristics, diagnosis and involvement with corrections agencies each affect dimensions of perceived control. Implications for youth service planning will be discussed.
