Synopsis: The study describes the range of services that are purchased with flexible funds and investigates the association of child and family baseline characteristics with the amount of flexible funds expenditures incurred. The study findings suggest that a subset of children account for a substantial share of expenditures. While several demographic variables and a measure of caregiver strain appear to predict between-youth differences in expenditures, child’s baseline clinical symptomatology was not a significant predictor of expenditures.
