Synopsis: This randomized clinical trial examined the effectiveness of Multisystemic Therapy (MST) adapted for youth who sexually offend (N = 67) in comparison with usual services (US) typically provided to such youth (N = 60). Usual services included group treatment with a cognitive-behavioral, relapse-prevention basis. Preliminary outcomes at 12-months post-recruitment support the effectiveness of MST as an ecologically-based alternative to usual services for youth who sexually offend.
