Synopsis: Results of a three-year grant-funded project focused on reducing seclusion and restraint in residential mental health programs illustrate the benefits of Public-Private collaboration. The poster presents data from two parts of the project: 1) Data showing decreased incidents of seclusion, restraint, and assault on a hospital unit where state agency staff collaborated intensively with program leaders, and 2) Data showing increased positive attitudes toward collaboration among private agency staff who attended state-sponsored provider “network” meetings.
