Synopsis: Growing numbers of legislatures and behavioral health care funding sources mandate the use of evidence-based practices for child and family services. Providers and communities struggle with the selection and implementation of an EBP appropriate for use with minority children and families. Cultural analysis is a critical step of the EBP selection process and cultural adaptation of the EBP is often essential. Participants will learn from the experiences from the state of Minnesota, tribal communities, and the Hogg Foundation for Mental Health which funds EBP cultural adaptation efforts within the state of Texas.
