Synopsis: This presentation reviews preliminary results from Unclaimed Children Revisited, which includes a national study and a case study in California. The implications for policy are explored. Over 90 percent of states report initiatives promoting the use of evidence-based practices (EBPs). Californian stakeholders report statewide provider training but limited adoption of EBPs due to funding, poor alignment with youth needs, and workforce considerations. Families and youth report little knowledge of EBPs.
