Synopsis: Within the developing school mental health (SMH) field, a central issue is how to deliver high quality, evidence-based services that contribute to the achievement of outcomes valued by families, schools and community stakeholders. In this presentation, staff from the University of Maryland will discuss themes and preliminary findings from a program of research focusing on enhancing quality in school mental health. Collaborators from other SMH research and policy centers will react to themes presented by the University of Maryland team, and will present key ideas for advancing this critical research agenda, along with implications for training, practice and policy.
