Synopsis: As model programs that are theory-driven and well-evaluated are implemented more frequently, they need to be adapted to local circumstances, but at the same time maintain a delicate balance between program fidelity and adaptation. This presents the case of one family-based SAMHSA model prevention program, Families and Schools Together (FAST), and presents outcome data for Elementary School and Middle School replications.
