Synopsis: Workplace support is key to the achievement of work-life integration by employed parents. Our proposed presentation combines empirical data and a family member’s account of employment-based supports. The research findings are based on the analysis of a series of six focus groups conducted with parents of children with mental health difficulties. Thematic analysis revealed that parents are skilled navigators of work and family boundaries, managing disclosure in the workplace and mental health stigma, while negotiating flexible work options, preparing for crises, and seeking informal and formal workplace supports.
