Synopsis: The goal of this study was to engage multiple stakeholders to identify barriers and facilitators of evidence-based practices (EBPs) implementation in public mental health service settings. Participants were multiple stakeholders including family/consumers, policy/county government, agency directors, program managers, clinical staff, and administrative staff. Concept mapping (CM) was used to facilitate participants in identifying a full range of issues and concerns. In contrast to the usual CM approach, each stakeholder group separately participated in a focus group and statements were then combined and evaluated. Fourteen areas that could hinder or facilitate implementation were identified and importance ratings varied across stakeholder groups.
