Synopsis: The Massachusetts Coordinated Family Focused Care (CFFC) pilot initiative has been undertaken in order to better coordinate the care of children at-risk of hospitalization or residential placement because of their serious emotional disturbance; over one-third of enrolled children have a history of psychiatric hospitalization. This Wraparound program builds on family strengths and available support systems to help children remain in or return to the community. This study examines the relationships between treatment fidelity and longitudinal changes in functional impairment, attainment of individualized program goals, graduation status, and child strengths for 196 children enrolled for at least three months in the program.
