Synopsis: Forty-eight families served through Worcester Communities of Care (WCC), a CASSP-based systems of care (SOC) program in Worcester Massachusetts were interviewed retrospectively about the structure, functioning, and overall effectiveness of their Child and Family Team. Care coordinators of each family also were interviewed. Long term (up to 12 months) post graduation outcomes were tracked. This paper describes findings from these interviews and explores factors in the child (e.g., baseline CAFAS scores), in the family (e.g., history of family violence), and in the SOC process that relate to differential response to treatment at graduation, and better or worse outcomes over time.
