Synopsis: This presentation reports the effects and outcomes of the Flexible Funding program in Connecticut. The goals were: stabilize families, avoid hospitalization and enrollment in voluntary services, partner with family and community resources in creative ways, and demonstrate improvement in youth functioning. Between $12,000 and $15,000 was available for creative intervention and prevention services. The Flexible Funding Program was evaluated in several ways - pre/post assessments of children, focus groups of parents and their Child Specific Team and meeting with Care Coordinators. An analysis of how the funds were used in relation to the identified success indicators was also completed. Program results were positive.
