Synopsis: Level of care determination is an important process in treatment and service planning for children and their families both in mental health and child welfare. This area of service delivery is beginning to develop systematic approaches for decision-making. The process and implementation of the Child and Adolescent Level of Care Utilization System (CALOCUS) within the context of the Children's Program Outcome Review Team (CPORT) evaluation and a full sample of data will be presented examining the CALOCUS levels of care across age, gender, race, and compared with CAFAS, CBCL and CPORT system outcome data on children in state custody in Tennessee.
