Synopsis: We present findings from a Family Organization/Evaluation partnership with social marketing in the development of sustainability planning for the family organizations through implementation of family designed/family driven evaluations. The development of a family organization database designed for collecting/tracking: services data; local family surveys; organizational participation and growth; contributions and match funds are presented. The discussion includes building family organization capacity for utilizing their data in concert with CMHS SOC evaluations and social marketing in designing their sustainability efforts. Family controlled data - Family controlled evaluations. Local partners provide training for family management of database/reporting, social marketing strategies, and ongoing technical assistance.
