Synopsis: There is a powerful and growing emphasis on the human services to implement evidence-based programs (EBPs) in mental health, juvenile justice, child welfare, medicine, prevention and early intervention, and developmental disabilities. Data collected at the 17th Annual RTC conference on the top five reasons not to use evidence based practices delineated multiple barriers to the implementation of evidence-based programs. This presentation will display the data collected previously and discuss strategies for overcoming barriers to evidence-based program implementation.
